News Police looking for the “Big Four” this weekend SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Oct. 9th, 2015 Photo: Supplied Both the Timmins Police and the local OPP are launching their Operation Impact over the long weekend. Officers will be looking for the Big Four; distracted, aggressive, and impaired driving, along with seat belt use. Timmins Police Chief John Gauthier says police across the country are collaborating on this project because they have seen more than enough pain and broken hearts from carelessness behind the wheel. The OPP reports 227 road deaths this year alone, 170 of which were because of the big four. Speeding and distracted driving are the leading cause of road deaths, killing 96 people in 2015
