Local OPP in the Northeast are rolling out their All Boots on the Ground Initiative. The Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of Natural Resources will be teaming up with police to identify the most common causes of accidents and collisions.
The OPP says it will be changing its patrol techniques, from Kirkland Lake to Hearst, specifically targeting common mistakes. Police say the three organizations will be focusing on seatbelts, speeding, careless and distracted driving and impaired driving.
