Cochrane District Crime Stoppers and the Timmins Police Service are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible for intentionally driving a truck and causing significant damage to properties along Riverside Drive in the city of Timmins.
During the early morning of Wednesday, June 25, 2025 an unknown individual drove a stolen Grey Ford F150 pick up truck erratically crashing intentionally into the back of Planet Fitness then into the showroom of James Toyota finally ending his rampage when the truck got hung up on a guard rail in a residential area on Sterling Ave in Timmins. A young male wearing a dark green sweatshirt with a light colored logo on the left chest area and black shorts was seen by a resident running from the final scene. It is believed this individual’s rampage caused approximately $2 million in damages, including destroying the truck.
