The Green Party will streamline FedNor to make it more effective

FedNor needs to be streamlined to be effective, says the Green Party candidate for Timmins-James Bay. Max Kennedy says there is a lot of opportunity, but he would be looking for projects that can work in more than one area of the country.

He says that means project research developed in the northeast could be transplanted anywhere from the east coast to the west. He says that kind of coordination will make FedNor more effective. He also says the funding and the business development opportunities that FedNor embodies need to be expanded.

Kennedy says there is a lot of land in the north filled with resources, and only very small populations, so there is a lot of opportunity for development.

He is running against the NDP’s Charlie Angus, Conservative John Curley, and Liberal Todd Lever.
