Registration is now open for any non-profit group to be an exhibitor at Welcome to Timmins Night.
The ever popular annual event is on Wednesday, September 3rd at the McIntyre Curling Club. Chianelo Nnoli, coordinator for the Timmins Local Immigration Partnership, says there’s always something new for newcomers and longtime residents.
“We see new things, new services every day,” she notes. “Most importantly, our community evolves, so new services are being introduced regularly and of course newcomers are coming in every day”.
Organizations from service clubs to sports and everything in between are expected to have displays and information.
“It’s free for attendees,” Nnoli points out, “but for exhibitors, you pay a token of $30. That’s just for the tables and chairs that you will use during the event.”
Welcome to Timmins Night runs from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on September 3rd.
