Connecting over local food

A potluck dinner is celebrating local foods tomorrow. Hosted by the Anti-Hunger Coalition, the annual Harvest Moon Dinner is at the Covenant United Church on Eighth Ave. It’s a chance for food lovers, gardeners, and community partners to connect over locally grown, seasonal food.

A spokes-person for ACT says everyone in the community has a stake in building a strong and sustainable food system. Doors open at 4:30pm tomorrow, and tickets are available at Newbie Media Design on Pine, for a suggested donation of $5.
