No one was hurt, but a house on Riverside Drive was badly damaged in a late night fire.
Deputy Fire Chief Scott Atkinson says shortly before ten o’clock, firefighters from the Mountjoy, Timmins and Schumacher stations were called to the area between Craig and Norman Streets. He adds that pets were removed safely.
Riverside was closed overnight and into the morning. It has now reopened.
Investigators are looking to pinpoint a cause.
