It was a smoky noon hour in South Porcupine and Porcupine.
Firefighters were called to what Timmins Fire Chief Berny Stansa calls a minor grass fire, in the area of St. Joseph School and Northern College.
They made quick work of it. The chief says there was no real damage and no one was hurt, but the English Catholic School Board closed St. Joseph for the day. It will reopen in the morning.
