A missing helicopter has been found, crashed in the woods near Foleyet. The two people on board were found dead at the scene. 24-year-old Jeremie Belanger from Kapuskasing, and 41-year-old Ken Mielke from Kitchener were the two men on board.
The chopper left Horwood Lake Camp on September 8th, and was going to another camp only 10 kilometres away. However, it never made it. Police found the downed helicopter on Friday evening. No details are being released yet on why they crashed. Police and the transportation safety board are still investigating.
