A 42-year-old Timmins man is facing mischief and theft charges.
City police say it stems from an incident that occurred during the morning hours at an Algonquin Blvd East parking lot on Monday.
The service says an investigation determined the man attended the parking lot, broke into a car, and stole some loose change with the vehicle sustaining around eight-hundred-dollars in damage.
Thanks to security cameras, city police were able to identify the accused who was charged yesterday (thursday).
The 42-year-old was also charged with two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
