Job Fair next week in Timmins

There is a job fair coming up for those looking for work in Timmins. Employment Options is hosting the event on Wednesday. Employment Services Coordinator Jenn Brunet says there will be some big names at the fair looking for employees. Eacom Timber, Walmart, HGS, and the Ministry of Transportation will be all be there. 

Brunet says to leave the ball caps at home, and come dressed like you would for an interview. She says the employers will have booths set-up which you can drop your resume off at, and some will do mini-interviews on the spot.

Brunet says there is something for everyone, whether you’re looking for work in sales, trades, or services. It’s next Wednesday, September 16th. The event runs from 9:00am to 12:00pm and then again from 2:30pm to 6:00pm. There will be different employers in each time slot. It’s all happening at 330 Second Avenue in suite 104.
