Five nights in October are set aside for Mayor Michelle Boileau and her councillors to bring City Hall to the people, one ward at a time.
“It is part of a broader communications strategy that includes public public meetings as a method to be able to reach and communicate with residents,” the mayor explains.”So we wanted to try to roll that out.”
All you have to do is show up. Boileau says there will be some structure to the events.
“Updates on some of the bigger projects and then some updates specific to their ward, before we will go into a Q-and-A portion.”
You can ask or comment on anything in your ward. Councillors are especially interested in your input into what should go into next year’s budget.
