Money for renovations for three children’s and social services facilities in Timmins riding

CORRECTION:  The $559,100 actually goes to the Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre on Toke St., not the Children’s Treatment Centre on Ross Ave. at Hwy. 655.  The Resource Centre serves children and adults with developmental disabilities.  My Timmins Now Dot Com apologizes for the error.

Three children’s and social services facilities in Timmins are getting renovations paid for by the provincial government’s Partner Facility Renewal Program.

The Cochrane Temiskaming Resource Centre on Toke St. gets $559,100.  Community Living Timmins gets $46,100 and James and Hudson Bay Family Services receives $20,400.

Timmins MPP George Pirie says this is part of a $21-million investment in 158 agencies across the province.
