News Northeastern hospitals are getting some funding SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Friday, Aug. 28th, 2015 Local hospitals are getting some much needed funding. The Local Health Integration Network is investing over $6-million into infrastructure, like the roof and windows. Back-up generators will also be replaced, and fire alarms will be updated. That money will be split up between 20 hospitals in the northeast. The Timmins Hospital is not one that will be getting funding. Smooth Rock Falls Hospital, Health Sciences North, and Sensenbrenner are among that will.
Limited snowmobile trail availability around Timmins, connects to Iroquois Falls Friday, Jan. 15th, 2021
