Security photos clearly show vandalism suspect

There are security camera photos of a young man committing an act of vandalism in Timmins.  Police investigators are sharing them, pretty sure that someone can put a name to the suspect.

Communications coordinator Marc Depatie says it was early on the evening of Monday, February 6th at Thériault Plumbing and Heating at 460 Mountjoy St. S.

“He appears to be walking past and for reasons that are yet to be explained, stops at about 6:30, slashes a couple of tires on a company vehicle and then proceeds on his way,” says Depatie.

He goes on to call the incident “so random”.

“This is completely aimless. It’s a pointless crime, absolutely. There’s no identifiable justification.”

If you can identify the suspect, you’re asked to call police at 705-264-120 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477). There’s at lease one charge of criminal mischief waiting for him.
