The Timmins Police Service is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual
responsible for a break, enter and theft in Schumacher.
Sometime between 6:00pm on Saturday, February 11th and 8:30am Sunday, February 12th, 2023 an individual broke into the Schumacher Volunteer Fire Hall located at 7 Les Hall St.
The suspect stole several firefighting specific tools such as a rescue saw red in colour valued at $2,500, self-contained breathing apparatus mask and cylinder valued at $1,500, medical bag, Halligan bar, bolt cutters and other items. Also taken was a Dell laptop valued at $1,150. The total value of stolen items is over $6,000.
