Forty firefighters from five stations were unable to save a house Wednesday afternoon in Connaught .
Timmins deputy fire chief Scott Atkinson says the house is a complete loss. Fortunately, no one was inside.
Atkins says access to water was not an issue. The house is right beside Frederickhouse Lake, and firefighters were able to pump water from a nearby creek.
A cause is not yet determined.
Mountjoy is the only station not dispatched to the blaze. Firefighters were dispatched from Connaught, Timmins, Schumacher, South Porcupine and Whitney.
