A Timmins resident is facing numerous weapons charges following an incident at a Birch Street north home yesterday.
Timmins Police Service Criminal Investigations Division seized a loaded handgun, ammunition, prohibited magazine and quantity of drugs during a search warrant.
The 42 year old Timmins man is facing eight different counts of possession of a loaded or restricted firearm, as well as careless storage of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and failure to comply with recognizance order.
