We have a new date for city-owned outdoor rinks and the Hollinger Park Skate Path to open. The delay is partly because people won’t stay off the surfaces. That makes ice quality poor.
Of course the recent mild weather and the big blast of snow forecast for the weekend don’t help, either.
It’s now projected that the rinks and skate path will open by next Wednesday evening, or early Thursday, the 29th.
