Stratospheric balloons are going to be launched in Timmins next week. It is part of project by the Canadian Space Agency. The balloons will be measuring things like climate change, pollution, and the chemical composition of the air as the sun moves.

They will be carrying things like equipment to measure the atmosphere for climate change and pollution. Another balloon will have a telescope for taking pictures of stars. The first launch is set for next Friday, if weather permits. The balloons will continue to go up until mid-September.
