UPDATE NOV. 23: Flood watch extended for at least two more says, will be updated by Friday.
Anyone living along the Mattagami River or beside Porcupine and Kamiskotia Lakes can breathe a little easier. The flood warning for those water bodies has been downgraded to a flood watch.
The Timmins Flood Advisory says the water is still higher than normal, but not rising. That could change if we get more however the short-term weather forecast doesn’t indicate that.
