Teens Finally Caught after Food Bank Break-ins

Timmins Police is charging four teenagers after the food bank was broken into again. The string of thefts happened between May and August, and police tracked down the suspects after they broke in early Monday morning. Fifty-four charges in total are being laid.

When police found the teens this week, they also found stolen food and jewellery. A 16-year-old, two 17-year-olds, and an 18-year-old are all being charged. One of the 17 year olds is being charged with 32 counts of breach of probation. Other charges include break and enter, and possessing stolen property.

Three of them were held for a bail hearing, and one was released with a promise to appear in court.
