Haunted house on Toke St. in its fourth year is a neighbourhood Halloween tradition

You’re guaranteed to be scared at a haunted walk this Halloween at 395 Toke St. in Timmins.

Actually, it’s the fourth year that realtor Marc Lacroix and about 30 friend and family volunteers have put on the haunted house that wraps itself around his actual house – all outdoors.

“Between the volunteers and the attractions and the animatronics, there’s probably about 45 scares, he says. “The whole walk takes about four minutes.”

Lacroix is asking anyone who comes to have the bejeebers scared out of them to bring a non-perishable food donation for the South Porcupine Food Bank.  Last year, the event raised about 1,300 pounds of food and $1,000.00 cash.

The attraction is open Sunday and Monday 7:00 anddd 10:00pm. Be prepared to wait in line.

“We have a little activity in a little bit of a line-up coming in, so it doesn’t feel like a long time,” Lacroix assures us. “But it’s definitely worth the wait. Be ready to be scared.”
