It’s going to begin to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Timmins the night of Saturday, November 12th, when the BIA holds the annual Santa Claus Parade.
Executive director Cindy Campbell says it will be bigger and better than ever.
“We’re surpassing right now the number of floats we had last year, and last year was amazing,” she tells My Timmins Now Dot Com. “So we’re really excited about what we’ve got this year.”
Santa Claus predicts even more floats to come, says Campbell.
“So we’re really excited to have an amazing event that’s going to have musical acts, because the theme is music in the North Pole. We’re going to have horses, we’re going to have floats from many different organizations. It’s going to be great.
The deadline to enter your group or float is Friday. A registration package is available from the BIA.
