The water in Foleyet might not be safe to drink right now, even if it is boiled. That is because there was a drop in pressure in the water system. When that happens, the water must be tested for bacteria.
While that is going on, the Sudbury Health Unit says to only use bottled water for drinking, brushing your teeth, or cooking. Municipal water is safe for laundry and showers, except when bathing small kids. The health unit is keeping an eye on the situation, and will say when the water is safe.
