Angus begins re-election campaign

Charlie Angus has launched his re-election campaign for Timmins-James Bay.  Angus says middle-class families are working harder under Prime Minister Stephen Harper but they just can’t get ahead.  He says since the 2008 recession, 200,000 more Canadians can’t find jobs.  Angus says the NDP are proposing practical solutions to restore strength and security.  Challenging Angus are Max Kennedy, a teacher, for the Green Party and lawyer and former city councillor Todd Lever for the Liberals.  The Conservatives don’t have a candidate yet.  The president of the local riding association says after talking to a number of people, the association is close to making an announcement.
