Work to replace the Bruce Ave. bridge in South Porcupine begins next week and will last until sometime this fall.
The city says the $1.5-million project complies with an engineer’s recommendation last year, following a structural review.
The pedestrian bridge just to the north of it will also be demolished, and incorporated into the new bridge.
Bruce will be closed between Gold Mine Rd. and Legion Dr. Traffic will be detoured via Golden Ave.
