Car wash at TH& VS to aid wife and daughters of late Const. Dale MacDonald

Timmins High & Vocational School is planning a car wash this Saturday, to help the family of Timmins Police Constable Dale MacDonald.  He died of cancer on May 2nd, leaving behind his wife Kendall and their four daughters, all under the age of 10.

Kendall is a teacher at TH.  Vice-principal Lisa Innes says the car wash is a way for the school community to help its teacher and friend.

“We’re having food available through the McIntyre food truck is coming over; some of our students are going to be playing music, selling water, freezies, and again just to bring community down to show support for our colleague and her family,” says Innes.

“Such an unexpected tragedy for our teacher and her family. All donations will be able to offset Kendall and her children as they move forward without their husband and father.”

The event runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm, behind Timmins High.
