News Man found in forest, after TPS got a distress call SHARE ON: Taylor Ablett, staff Tuesday, Jul. 21st, 2015 Photo: Supplied by Taylor Ablett A man went missing this weekend in the woods in the Highway 101 West area. The four hour long search ended well, as the Emergency Response Team found him inside a building in the area. Police got the call that he was in distress at around 6:30 on Saturday morning, which sparked the search. He was found around 10:45 AM. He was treated by paramedics at the scene and was taken to the hospital with no injuries. A press release from the Timmins Police thanked everyone who helped in the search. “The Timmins Police Service would like to thank the Ontario Provincial Police for their assistance in this incident. Along with Timmins Police ERT and platoon members, much teamwork was demonstrated to bring the incident to a safe conclusion.”
