The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is providing money to two Timmins industrial operations. Caron Equipment gets $400,000 to buy four rock haul trucks that it will use at the Coté gold mine near Gogama.
And Tisdale Mechanical gets $295,000 to renovate its new headquarters and buy equipment.
Northern Development Minister Greg Rickford was in town with the cheques. He made similar announcements in Cochrane and Iroquois Falls last Friday, and a slew of them in Hearst and Kapuskasing the past two days.
