TPS seeking another break-in suspect

As break-ins go, this one has Timmins Police scratching their heads.

It was at a medical office on Third Avenue back on February 25th, when someone smashed a window. Communications coordinator Marc Depatie says this type of thing happens too often.

“In this particular instance, though,” he adds, “we did get some blurred images based on some surveillance camera footage. So we’re hopeful that this will perhaps someone to call in.”

Depatie says it’s frustrating for businesses and professional offices to suffer this kind of crime… and a concern for police looking to locate whoever is responsible.

“Beyond that, we’re working with other agencies to determine why the person is in such a state of desperation that they would perform this type of crime, when other social services are at their disposal.”

You can call Timmins Police at 705-264-1201, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-2228477 (TIPS), or go online to www.p3tips.com .
