International Women’s Day speaker hopes to inspire others to lead change

The CEO of Ontario Northland is the keynote speaker at an International Women’s Day lunch organized by the Timmins Chamber of Commerce.

“It’s great to see that we’re able to host it in person this year, which is fantastic news,” says Chamber member services manager Carmen Swartz. She says Corina Moore’s topic will be “Diversity and Inclusion: Choose to Change”.

“Corina will be able to highlight some of he changes that she’s been able to make at Ontario Northland; how she was able to lead a diverse team and what that means in that organization.”

Swartz adds that Moore also aims to inspire others to institute change in their own organizations, and empower women to lead that change. The event is Wednesday, March 9th at the Dante Club.

Swartz says don’t worry if you can’t attend. “We will record the session and you’re able to purchase the recording and we will be happy to share that with you after the luncheon is complete.”
