The retired president of Northern College has been given a lifetime achievement award by the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
Fred Gibbons is one of four recipients. The ministry says the award is for his leadership that include several added facilities and programs at Northern, and partnerships with Queen’s University, Algoma University as well as colleges and universities in China.
