AIr Cadet Gliding Program Here to Stay, says Angus

Northern Ontario’s Cadet Air Gliding Program isn’t going anywhere. There have been questions about the fate of the youth program in Iroquois Falls and North Bay, after a similar program was suspended in Thunder Bay.

MP for Timmins-James Bay Charlie Angus lobbied the feds for a commitment to keep the program up and running. He says the commitment is very meaningful, and Cadet Air Glider’s plays a huge role in building leadership.

“I am heartened to hear that we have gotten this commitment out of the federal government. The Cadet program plays a huge role in building leadership opportunities for Canadian youth and it is important that it is here to stay,” says Angus. We will ensure that this commitment happens.”
