We’re hearing stories of drought conditions in western Canada, and farmers being unable to produce any crops. The same cannot be said for the Timmins area.
Allen Graham of Graham Acres says so far, so good.
“We’re having a really good year, he tells My Timmins Now Dot Com . “We’re getting rain every couple of days and the crop is really good.”
“We’ve got good conditions moisture-wise. We’re having not as much heat as we normally do, but we’re still getting a good crop off.”
Graham says corn is about two weeks behind, because it needs the heat.
