PHU program manager Kendra Brunet explains: “We’re set up at the South Porcupine ambulance station in collaboration with EMS and we’re hosting a drive-through vaccination clinic for Pfizer for first and second doses.” Moderna vaccine is also available.
That ambulance station is in the building it shares with the fire department on the Northern College campus. Brunet says the clinic’s on until 6:00pm. She calms fears that it will be a repeat of last week’s overwhelming response, when the line had to be cut off late in the day.
“I think it even exceeded what we were expecting, so we have increased our capacity and we’ll be able to see more people much more quickly today.”
This event is for first and second doses of Pfizer vaccine, no appointment needed, and you can get it all done in the comfort of your car.
