Two cases of COVID-19 in staff members have forced TD Canada Trust to temporarily close its only branch in Timmins.
In an email statement, company spokesperson Jen Wilson says contact tracing is complete and the bank continues to follow public health guidance. She doesn’t mention how long “temporary” is. Neither does a sign in the door directing clients to the nearest branch, about an-hour-and-a-half away by car in Kirkland Lake.
Wilson does encourage clients to bank digitally or on ATMs.
