The body has been identified as Daniel Robert Trask, who has been missing since the fall of 2011. He was 28 when he disappeared in Temagami. The remains were found by a search party that had been organized by his family. The investigation is ongoing, but foul play isn’t suspected. The Ontario Provincial Police Temiskaming detachment, under the direction of Acting Detective Inspector Mark Zulinski of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch is spearheading the investigation.
