COVID-19 hit the rails last Monday, April 26th, potentially infecting passengers on a train between Moosonee and Cochrane.
The Porcupine Health Unit is especially concerned about passengers on coach 2 of the train that left Moosonee at 5:00pm.
If that’s you, you must self-isolate and call your local health unit office. All other passengers are advised to self-monitor. If symptoms occur, self-isolate and call PHU
At least report, there had been 646 confirmed cases in the region since the pandemic began, with 118 active.
