The coronavirus has forced temporary closure of the only Timmins branch of the Royal Bank.
RBC spokesperson Robb Ritchie confirms that the branch at the 101 Mall is closed until Monday “while extremely low risk, with an abundance of care and caution for the health and well-being of our clients and employees”.
Ritchie won’t specifically comment on whether a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19.
He adds that if the reopening day changes, signage at the branch will indicate that.
