There is an event in Timmins today giving more information about vision loss. CNIB is a charity that provides support and knowledge for blind or partially blind Canadians. They will be at the museum today for their technology and information fair.
On display will be a number of items on display including: computer equipment, video magnifiers, closed-circuit televisions, digital accessible information system players and aids for independent living.
The event is running from 12 PM until 7 PM, Thursday the 21st.
