Timmins police are charging four local men after a robbery. It happened over the long weekend, when one in their group planned to meet up with the victim.

They were in the Spruce Street area when the other three showed up. They robbed the victim at gunpoint, and he was sent to the hospital with multiple stab wounds. They are facing 13 charges among them, including possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose, and robbery using a firearm.

The victim’s injuries are serious but not life threatening.

26 year old of Timmins: Robbery using a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime, and trafficking of a Schedule II substance (marihuana).

27 year old of Timmins: Disguise with intent to commit a criminal offence, robbery using a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and pointing a firearm.

29 year old of Timmins: Robbery using a firearm, possession of property obtained by crime, and disguise with intent to commit a criminal offence.

18 year old of Timmins: Robbery using a firearm, disguise with intent to commit a criminal offence, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
