COVID-19 case number jumps to 338

UPDATED AT 2:15pm WITH WORD OF HIGH RISK OF EXPOSURE ON AN ONR BUS.

Today’s COVID-19 report from the Porcupine Health Unit can be summed up by saying “two new cases, an outbreak and a high-risk exposure alert”.

Both new cases are in the Hearst-Hornepayne area, the result of coming into contact with others.  The outbreak is at Innes Transport in Moosonee.  Investigation shows the virus in two staff members is related to the workplace.

The high-risk incident comes from an Ontario Northland bus that left Toronto Wednesday morning at eleven o’clock, bound for Sudbury, then leaving Sudbury at six o’clock that night, headed to Timmins.
