Nominations are now being accepted for the Timmins Chamber of Commerce annual Nova Awards.
Manager of business services Carmen Swartz says the ceremony will be held virtually on May 13th, with the theme “Building Business”.
“It’s a construction theme so we’re really just looking at how our members and our business community really build our community,” she explains.
Swartz asks that you look at the 15 categories, and nominate your business or your neighbour’s.
“Your neighbouring business is probably doing something different this year, or introduced something new in order to make changes to their business with the way everything is,” she outlines. “Submitting that nomination is giving them that encouragement, celebrating the efforts that they put in is a great thing to do.”
Nominations are open until January 29th.
