International travel is pegged as the cause of the latest COVID-19 case in our region… and that person from Timmins might have exposed fellow passengers as they flew back home.
The Porcupine Health Unit says that was an Air Canada flight that originated in Toronto last Saturday.

December 12, 2020 – Air Canada, flight # 8287AC from 2:25 p.m. to 4:06 p.m., especially those seated in rows 8 to 12.
If you were seated in rows 8 to 12 on that flight, you are advised to self-monitor until next Saturday – Boxing Day.
Confirmed case number 119 is in self-isolation.
