Sudbury-based Science North is developing a series of roadshows it says will “stimulate economic activity and tourism in the north”.
Next year, the organization will launch ‘The Great Northern Ontario Roadshow’; a promotional tour that will travel to over 50 communities to highlight some of the tourist attractions throughout the north.
Through the road shows, Science North says it hopes to generate revenue for tourism operations affected by COVID-19 by engaging with residents and bringing science to their communities.
