A mother, her son and another man from Timmins are splitting the October prize in the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation’s 50-50 lottery.
Carol Denis, her son Lucas and John Spalding had joined forces to increase their chances of winning. It worked, netting them $258,892.
Carol says she’ll use her windfall to pay bills. Lucas plans to start a nest egg. Spalding says he’ll pay off his truck and a few bills.
