Crime Stoppers: Report a poacher

The hunting season is upon us and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry want to remind hunters that poaching is a crime.

Hunter safety is extremely important and as a hunter you have certain responsibilities such as:

  • Knowing the hunting rules and regulations
  • Knowing your target and beyond
  • Possessing the appropriate licenses

The consequences of poaching can be a fine, loss of hunting privileges and equipment such as firearm, boat or vehicle.

Leaving an animal to spoil is reckless and irresponsible.  As a community let’s help protect our precious wildlife.
