The suspect in the robbery of an 85-year-old woman has been arrested by Timmins Police.
They had put out a call for help finding the 32-year-old woman following last Sunday’s incident on Third Avenue.
Investigators say the elderly woman was knocked down and had her purse forcibly taken from her. The assailant got away with about 50 dollars cash.
The suspect is now charged with robbery with violence and three counts of breach of probation.
