TADH Pediatric Unit gets a boost

Over $5000 from a curling bonspiel has gone into the Timmins Hospital. The donation was made on Friday, and is from the Northern Automobile Dealers Association.

The money will go into the pediatric department at the hospital, which services over 20, 000 kids living in the catchment area.

The unit has five beds, and allows parents to stay with their kids while they need to be at the hospital.

President of NADA, Stefano Lodovici says is a cause close to his heart. He says his son was born with a heart defect, and quality pediatric care saved his life.
